I felt a bit awkward as I haven't done any creative shoot in a while now. I feel like I need to get back in the groove of things. These long breaks are not helpful at all. Yesterday Toni, Eddie and I went on a country run to Linstead, St Catherine. We found lots of orange orchards and open fields, the side of Linstead I haven't seen before.
We met a farmer in Riversdale who took us in his Ford F150 to the spot where I took these shots. I use Eddie's tripod and my Nikon 24-85mm f/2.8 lens with aperture at f/22 for maximum depth-of-field, and exposures ranging from 1/2sec to 1/20 secs to deepen the sky. I also coupled a Tiffen Circular Polarizer and ND Filter. Both photos are combinations of 3 images merged in Adobe Photoshop CS3.
Country Road

I think am going to do a lot of Panorama this year. Been looking at some absolutely fabulous panoramic photos by Peter Lik and am now convinced to tackle it. SalfricoPhotography.Com: Chapter 2 is long over due. So am off on an adventure for 2008.
