Calm Before The Storm

This bird sat atop a streetlight post at my gate, and sang it's heart out. I guess he was singing Taps, singing warnings of the danger that was fast approaching. Hurricane Ivan was out in the Caribbean Sea, wreaking havoc on the smaller islands. The rich sunset made an interesting silhouette that popped out. I took this image through my upstairs bedroom window, with my Nikon D200, and Tamron 18-200mm lens @ 200mm. I used aperture f/5.6, and shutter 1/60 at ISO125.
